The Dovetail Plates are the heart of the Losmandy Secondary System. 0.5" x 4.0" x length of the tube assembly. Dovetail plates may be mounted to the top and bottom of tube assembly for mounting of all D series accessories, making it possible to use both sides of tube for equipment. Mounts to all Astrophysics, Celestron, and Meade systems. The dovetail plates, like all accessories in the Losmandy line, are machined for lightness and rigidity from aluminum stock, then black anodized for a tough, corrosion free surface.

The Losmandy dovetail plate for 14" SCT models bolts to existing holes. It weighs 3.75 lbs. and the length 23.75" HS 23.00. The height from the top of tube to the top of dovetail plate is 1.20".
